Thomas Sweet to Succeed Brian Gladden as Dell SVP, CFO; Michael Dell Comments

Dell logo_GovConWireThomas Sweet, a 16-year corporate finance veteran at Dell, has been appointed to succeed Brian Gladden as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Gladden has served in both SVP and CFO roles for the past five years and will leave the company at the end of February, the computer manufacturer said Friday.

Chairman and CEO Michael Dell said Gladden helped lead the organization through the process of becoming a private company.

Sweet held the positions of VP, chief accounting officer and corporate controller prior to this promotion.

“I am delighted that Tom will be joining our leadership team to help lead Dell through our next chapter and help me position the company for long-term success, ” Michael Dell said.
