On Thursday, January 16 the Potomac Officers Club is set to hold yet another event in its “headline speakers on headline topics” series when it presents the Federal Intell Summit.
Past POC events with multiple presenters include the “Thriving in the post-Sequestration GovCon era” event and “Big Data Analytics – Critical Support for the Agency Mission.”
POC holds gatherings of GovCon executives between 12 and 15 times per year to discuss emerging business and technology trends and always has a number of thought leaders presenting on pertinent topics.
Congressman Mike Rogers marks his return to POC and will be joined by three other intelligence experts.
The full list includes:
- Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Intell Committee
- Juan Zarate, Senior Advisor at CSIS
- Tish Long, Director at NGA
- David Shedd, Deputy Director at DIA
Each speaker has decades of experience in national security and intelligence issues and will speak candidly with executives about trends and ongoing developments.
“From global issues to federal legislation, our members want to hear about what’s happening in the Intelligence Community, ” said Julia Fanning, speaker & event coordinator.

The event is set to take place at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons from 7:00 A.M.- 11:30 A.M where food and beverages will be provided.
