NCR Acquires Digital Insight for $1.65B; Bill Nuti Comments

acquisitionNCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR) has acquired online and mobile banking service provider Digital Insight Corp. from Thoma Bravo LLC for $1.65 billion.

RBC Capital Markets LLC, J.P. Morgan and BofA Merrill Lynch served as lead financial advisors to NCR and Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP provided legal services to NCR, the company said Friday.

Bill Nuti, NCR chairman and CEO, said the company intends for the acquisition to help banks reform their business models.

NCR also aims for the Digital Insight buy to grow the company, Nuti added.

Duluth, Ga.-based NCR develops consumer transaction technologies.
