John Veihmeyer: KPMG Finalizes Link Analytics Buy as Big Data Continues to ‘Fundamentally Transform’ Decision Making

KPMGlogoKPMG LLP has closed its purchase of analytical services provider Link Analytics for an undisclosed sum in an effort to help clients manage their operations by increasing usage of big data.

Link Analytics employees will be a part of KPMG’s advisory business as both firms aim to work with customers in the areas of customer experience and analytics for addressing business challenges, KPMG said Monday.

“Data & analytics continue to fundamentally transform core business processes and decision making for our clients, ” said John Veihmeyer, chairman and CEO of KPMG.

New York City-based KPMG launched a fund to grow investments in data and analytics services earlier this year.
