Jacobs Awarded $135M for Army Logistics, Procurement Services

JACOBS logo_GovConWireJacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has received a potential three-year $135 million task order covering transportation and acquisition services for the Army‘s global contingency efforts.

The company will also perform analysis, planning and life cycle management support services under the contract, Jacobs said Tuesday.

Work will occur at the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois and other Army sites around the globe for one year, with an option for two additional years.

This award falls under the Army Sustainment Command Logistics Civil Augmentation Program and supports the Army Contracting Command–Rock Island LOGCAP and Reachback Division.
