Greg O’Brien Named Jones Lang LaSalle Americas CEO

Jones Lang LasalleGreg O’Brien, CEO of the Americas markets business at Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), has been promoted to the chief executive position for the Americas region at the professional services and investment management firm.

O’Brien will also join the firm’s executive board and lead the Americas executive committee to set strategy for the region, JLL said Thursday.

“As a member of our Americas leadership for many years, Greg has been a key contributor to setting the Americas strategy and driving its execution through our businesses, ” said Colin Dyer, JLL president and CEO.

John Gates will succeed O’Brien as Americas markets CEO and lead the firm’s brokerage, capital markets, property management, retail and project and development services businesses in the U.S.

JLL says O’Brien led businesses responsible for more than 60 percent of the firm’s revenue in the Americas region and worked to facilitate cross-border transactions for clients.
