CGI to Help Arizona County Install Cloud ERP System; Daniel Keene Comments

CGI-logoCGI Group (NYSE: GIB) has been awarded potential 10-year, $44.6 million contract to update a legacy system used by the Maricopa County, Ariz. government to manage financial, budgeting and procurement functions.

The company will deploy and maintain its Advantage enterprise resource planning software for Maricopa County to automate and consolidate its business processes in a cloud environment, CGI said Tuesday.

Daniel Keene, senior vice president of the CGI Advantage program, said the cloud-based platform is designed to help government users streamline workflow while maintaining transparency.

CGI has worked with Maricopa County for two decades.

The company says it provides IT support to five out of the six U.S. states which have recently implemented an ERP system.
