Bostonia Partners Obtains $258M to Finance NOAA Headquarters; Anita Molino Comments

Bostonia GroupBostonia Partners LLC has obtained nearly $258 million in permanent funding to refinance two leased facilities for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Silver Spring, Md.

The Bostonia Group investment banking arm closed the two transactions with investors in the private placement market for the General Services Administration’s credit tenant leases at the Silver Spring Metro Center III and IV buildings, Bostonia Group said Jan. 3.

“The Silver Spring Metro Center is a marquis development in the Washington, D.C. area and we are grateful to have contributed to the continued economic development of Silver Spring and the presence of GSA and NOAA in the neighborhood, ” said Anita Molino, managing partner and president of Bostonia Partners.

The SSMC III and IV transactions contain two lease-backed notes with a total value of nearly $175 million and $83 million, respectively.

Bostonia Global Securities LLC, the broker-dealer arm of Bostonia Group, placed the secured notes and the leases take effect beginning in 2013 through 2028.
