Pat Burke to Become SRA’s First-Ever CTO as George Batsakis, Paul Nedzbala Expand Their Roles

Pat Burke, a two-decade veteran of SRA International, has been appointed as the firm’s first-ever chief technology officer after previously serving as senior vice president of the company’s intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement group, SRA said Wednesday.

“I am excited to further build on our technology heritage through the creation of our new CTO role, ” said Bill Ballhaus, SRA president and CEO.

George Batsakis, formerly SVP of the defense group and a two-decade industry veteran, will serve in the same capacity for the new national security group.

The national security group will oversee the company’s defense, intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement operations.

Paul Nedzbala, formerly SVP of the civil government group and a 27-year sector veteran, will also oversee the newly-established health and civil group and will lead the company’s efforts in those areas.

“We have aligned our business to better meet the needs of our federal customers who are operating in a dynamic environment that continues to include significant budget constraints, ” Ballhaus said.
