Michael Burke Named AECOM CEO, Board Member; John Dionisio Comments

Michael BurkeMichael Burke, president of AECOM Technology Corp. (NYSE: ACM) for the past two years, will succeed John Dionisio as CEO of the technical and management support services provider.

Burke’s appointment is effective March 6, 2014 and he will also join the company’s board of directors, AECOM said Wednesday.

He was chief financial officer of the company prior to being promoted to president in October 2011.

“As president, and in his previous role as CFO, Mike has worked closely with me to shape and drive AECOM’s AECOMgrowth strategy, diversify our service offerings, expand our global footprint and deliver superior business results, ” Dionisio said.

Dionisio will continue with AECOM as executive chairman of the board of directors and will assist in the leadership transition.

The 42-year company veteran has led the company as CEO since 2005 and began as the chairman of its board in 2011.
