General Dynamics Awarded $171M for Carter Hall Ship Dry Dock

general dynamics logoGeneral Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) NASSCO subsidiary has been awarded a $171, 961, 941 contract action by the U.S. Navy for dry-docking maintenance work on the USS Carter Hall.

The Navy is obligating $104, 155, 547 in fiscal year 2014 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award and $123, 702, 226 in contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year, the Defense Department said Thursday.

NASSCO will perform work in Norfolk, Va. through April 2015 for the ship’s fiscal 2014 planned maintenance availability.
