An ASRC Federal subsidiary has won a five-year, $7 million contract to help the U.S. Census Bureau manage its data for the 2020 Census.

ASRC Federal InuTeq will update, check and maintain the Census Bureau’s database under the Master Address File/Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing Database Improvement Support contract, ASRC Federal said Thursday.

“We are excited to have this opportunity to provide database support to the U.S. Census Bureau, ” said Paul Dillahay, president and CEO at ASRC Federal.

Dillahay added the team will help census operations with data quality control and maintenance support.

The Master Address File is meant to locate where U.S. citizens work and live, while the Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing directory is designed to support statistical programs such as the decennial census and to let the census outline geographic features.
