AIS Embedded Computing Tech Available on GSA Schedule

NavyC4ISREmbedded computing technology maker American Industrial Systems has been awarded a General Services Administration schedule contract for the company’s commercial off-the-shelf displays and systems.

The company intends for military and aerospace customers to have access to ruggedized monitors, computers and tablets under the IT Schedule 70 contract, AIS said Monday.

Federal, state and local agencies use IT Schedule 70 to acquire information technology tools and the company says this vehicle is the most widely-used by federal agencies.

AIS designs its displays and systems to meet the MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards as well as be used in ground mobile, homeland defense, shipboard and marine applications such as on surface ships, submarines and other military vessels.
