Mike Malone Named to Kratos Unmanned Advisory Role; Jerry Beaman Comments

kratos logoMike Malone, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral, has joined Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (NASDAQ: KTOS) as a special assistant to Jerry Beaman,  president of the unmanned combat aerial systems.

He will work with customers such as the Navy and Marine Corps on the company’s UCAS performance, mission requirements and related activities, Kratos said Thursday.

“Vice Admiral Malone joining the Kratos UCAS team is another important step in the continued execution of our strategy in building an affordable, survivable and recoverable unmanned combat aerial system for the military, ” Beaman said.

Prior to Kratos, Malone served as president of Skarven Enterprises and was a member of the board of directors for two companies involved in access control, wireless security systems, high-technology simulation and manufacturing.
