Roderick Day Named Acting Iron Mountain CFO, Brian McKeon to Step Down

Iron Mountain logoBrian McKeon, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Iron Mountain, will step down from both roles on Oct. 31 and Senior Vice President Roderick Day will assume the CFO role on an acting basis.

The company will consider both internal and external candidates for the full-time CFO post and McKeon will remain with the company through the end of 2013 to help with the transition, Iron Mountain said Thursday.

McKeon has served as CFO since April 2007 and oversaw the company’s accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations functions.

William Meaney, Iron Mountain president and CEO, said McKeon most recently led the company’s conversion to a real estate investment trust.

Day has been with Iron Mountain since 2008 and currently serves as CFO for the international business.

Before joining Iron Mountain, Day served as CFO for AOL Europe and also held the roles of director of financial control and planning and VP for finance and strategy.

He also held senior strategic planning and finance roles at Kingfisher plc.
