Northrop Wins GSA, Air Force Energy Services Task Order; Bill Carty Comments

northrop Grumman_BLUENorthrop Grumman has won a $38 million task order from the General Services Administration and U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center to help identify methods for saving water and energy.

The contract consists of a single base year plus two option years to work with the AFCEC and major Air Force commands and bases located around the world, Northrop said Thursday.

“We are very pleased to be selected to continue our more than 30 years of supporting the U.S. Air Force civil engineering mission, ” said Bill Carty, Northrop vice president and general manager of defense and government services.

Northrop will work with Birmingham, Ala.-based SAIN Engineering and Pasadena, Calif.-based TetraTech under the contract.
