John Dorman Named DataDirect Networks Acting President

DataDirectNetworksJohn Dorman, who has served on DataDirect Networks‘ board of directors for five years, has been appointed to serve as president on an acting basis.

The appointment is effective immediately and he succeeds Joe Cowan, who has stepped down to pursue other interests, DDN said Thursday.

Dorman served as chairman, president and CEO of online banking services company Digital Insight Corp. before joining DDN.

He also led Oracle‘s (NASDAQ: ORCL) global financial services business at senior vice president and general manager and led product development, services and sales to banks and brokerage firms worldwide.

The three-decade technology veteran is also the founder of Treasury Services Corp. and served as the company’s chairman and CEO.
