Huntington Ingalls Wins $155M for Nuclear Submarine R&D, Logistics

Huntington Ingalls w:borderHuntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has won a $155, 682, 919 contract modification to perform research and development and integrated logistics support work on the U.S. Navy‘s nuclear submarines.

The Navy is obligating $560, 635 at the time of award from its fiscal year 2012 and 2013 other procurement and working capital funds, the Defense Department said Friday.

Contract work will also include engineering, configuration and database management, as well as trade and industrial support.

Work will occur in Newport News, Va. through September 2014.
