Debra Tomchek, formerly executive director of the Department of Homeland Security‘s chief human capital office, has joined ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI) as a vice president.
The 15-year federal senior executive veteran led DHS to develop and implement a department-wide program on how to plan a multi-sector workforce that works to address mission risks, ICF said Tuesday.
Tomchek joins the company as it aims to grow its human resource and capital management work for federal agencies.
“She will be a key to ICF’s continued growth in the federal government market, ” said Jeffrey Neal, an ICF senior vice president.
Tomchek, a 35-year government veteran, has also served as human resources director for two cabinet agencies and held senior management positions at the Office of Personnel Management, the Defense Department and the U.S. Mint.
