CRGT Completes Integration of Big Data Provider Guident; Tom Ferrando Comments

CRGTCRGT announced it has fully integrated Guident, a big data and analytics technology provider it acquired early this year, into CRGT’s information technology services portfolio.

CRGT has been providing cybersecurity, agile development, mobility and infrastructure optimization services to federal customers for more than 25 years and is currently made-up of 1, 200 employees, the company said Tuesday.

“In addition to a number of new customers, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Guident adds exciting new capabilities for CRGT in the area of big data that many of our customers are seeking, ” said Tom Ferrando, CRGT CEO and president, when the deal was announced.

This is CRGT’s third acquisition within the past two years, including its purchase of CIBER Inc.’s federal division in March 2012.

According to CRGT, Guident specializes in data analytics, ERP and systems development.
