Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a $99, 606, 355 contract modification to install maintenance training devices and ordnance load trainer into the U.S. Navy‘s Poseidon aircraft fleet.
This modification covers six virtual maintenance trainer devices and 14 other hardware pieces into lot two of the low rate initial production planes, the Defense Department said Monday.
The Navy is allocating $99, 606, 355 in fiscal year 2012 aircraft procurement funds at the time of award and all funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
