Todd Olson Named a GTRI Public Sector Business Development Manager; Steve Foster Comments

GTRI logo_GovConWireTodd Olson, formerly an information technology executive in Colorado’s state government, has joined Global Technology Resources Inc. as business development manager for state and local government and education.

He will oversee business development processes and go-to-market strategic programs, GTRI said Tuesday.

Olson will report to Robert Berger, business development director

“With more than 20 years of experience in finance and technology management, Todd is familiar with both the budgeting and technical challenges facing state and local governance, ” said Steve Foster, GTRI chief operating officer.

Olson most recently held two positions in the Colorado governor’s information technology office.

As executive director of IT innovation,  he helped to implement an enterprise resource planning system that replaced the state’s financial system.

He also served on the Colorado Public Private Partnership Advisory Council as an executive sponsor, holding responsibility for statewide IT implementation and citizen-centered service delivery.
