Tetra Tech Adds Six States to EPA ‘Superfund’ Contract Portfolio; Dan Batrack Comments

TetraTechLogoTetra Tech (NASDAQ: TTEK) has won a five-year, $48 million contract to help the Environmental Protection Agency run an emergency response system in six states.

The company has worked on 18 EPA Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team contracts since 1995, the company said Wednesday.

“With this contract, Tetra Tech now supports EPA’s emergency response and other START program activities in nearly 20 states across the country, ” said Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech chairman and CEO.

Tetra Tech will work with EPA on-scene coordinators and other federal officials in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Ohio under the new contract.

Work under Superfund programs includes removal actions, emergency preparedness and prevention activities, Superfund and brownfields site assessments, data management and training.
