TAPE has won a two-year contract to provide administrative and support services to the Transportation Security Administration’s information technology office.
The company has worked with the office as a subcontractor since 2011, TAPE said Friday.
TAPE will help the chief information officer, deputy CIO and three other IT office components manage clerical functions under the new deal.
Todd Calderwood, TAPE vice president of program support services and Department of Homeland Security accounts, said the company intends to build on the more than 85 percent of revenue it has captured through the PACTS clerical functional category.
TSA’s IT office is responsible for managing the agency’s IT budget and funding for field operations.
The office acquires office equipment and provides telecommunications services for technical field operations.
