Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a $169, 851, 218 contract modification to continue performing logistics support activities for the U.S. Air Force‘s fleet of Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Air Force is obligating $76, 276, 405 in fiscal year 2013 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Contractor logistics support encompasses fielded air vehicles, engines, payloads, ground segments and support segments.
Work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee modification will occur in San Diego through Sept. 30, 2014.
