Six to Compete on Potential $243M Navy Systems Engineering Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded positions on a potential five-year,  $243, 105, 875 contract to six companies for systems engineering support to the Naval Air Warfare Center for developmental programs.

NAVAIR received six offers for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple-award contract and awardees will compete for task orders, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work is intended to support programs such as the Joint Precision Approach and Landing Systems, the Navy Unmanned Combat Aerial Systems, the Unmanned Carrier-Launched Airborne Surveillance and Strike, Broad Area Maritime Surveillance, War Fighter Networking, Unmanned Aircraft System/Ground Based Sense and Avoid and Automated Aerial Refueling Support.

Awardees include:

  • AM Pierce and Associates
  • BAE Systems
  • Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services LLC
  • Coherent Technical Services
  • Engility Corp. (NYSE: EGL)
  • Sierra Nevada Corp.
