SAIC Wins $224M to Manage Thrift Investment Board IT Infrastructure

SAIC Logo_ExecutiveBizScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) has won a $224.5 million contract to provide information technology services to the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, Federal News Radio reported Monday.

Jason Miller writes SAIC will perform recordkeeping, information security and information technology support work for five years.

The FRTIB started the program in the summer of 2013, the station reports.

Miller reports the board has approved a $170.5 million fiscal year 2013 budget for its network infrastructure investment, including $4 million for cybersecurity capabilities in an effort to address regulations.
