Philips to Help Army, Air Force Maintain Biomedical Equipment

Philips logoPhilips Healthcare will continue to maintain biomedical equipment at U.S. Army and Air Force military treatment facilities under a $17, 082, 500 contract modification.

The Army Medical Command received two bids for the award via an online acquisition, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Performance location and funding will be determined with each order under the time and materials, option-eligible, multi-year modification.

Earlier this year, a Philips subsidiary was announced as one of two winners of contracts covering radiology and patient monitoring systems for the Defense Logistics Agency.

Both contracts are worth up to $161 million combined.
