Michael Berry Named IO CFO; George Slessman Comments

datacenterMichael Berry, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer at SolarWinds, has joined data center technology developer IO as the company’s CFO.

He will oversee financial planning, investor relations and treasury activities and report directly to CEO George Slessman in his new position, IO said Thursday.

Slessman said Berry brings experience in building financial and operational foundations for the technology sector.

At SolarWinds, Berry helped carry out 10 acquisition deals and worked to restructure the company’s financial management processes.

Prior to SolarWins, he served as CFO at supply chain management software and services provider i2 and helped execute strategic initiatives.

Berry held executive positions at Comdata Corp., The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. and Travelers Express Co. and serves on the board of security technology firm Rapid7.
