DRC, Army Directorate Ink Big Data Tech R&D Pact

DRC logoDynamics Research Corp. has signed a cooperative research and development agreement with a U.S. Army directorate to develop and evaluate technologies for the Distributed Common Ground System.

The company will work with intelligence and information warfare directorate in the Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center under the partnership, DRC said Tuesday.

“We value this opportunity to work collaboratively with our government customers to research next generation models and develop prototypes that bring the benefits of big data to real world missions, ” said Jim Regan, DRC chairman and CEO.

Regan added the company aims to help users understand the credibility and origin of data.

DRC and the Army will work to transition new technologies into a DCGS-standard cloud.
