BAE Wins $535M to Maintain Weapons Launch Facility; Erin Moseley Comments

ErinMoseleyBAE Systems has been selected to help the U.S. Air Force maintain a weapons launch facility under a $535 million eight-and-a-half-year military contract, Reuters reported Wednesday.

Patrick Rucker writes the London-based defense and aerospace firm will provide sustainment services for silo bases that protect and store intercontinental ballistic missiles and other nuclear warheads.

“Our job is to guarantee that (the system) never fails, ” said Erin Moseley, BAE Systems president of support solutions.
