Vermillion Group, PrincetonOne Merge to Leverage Resources, Recruitment Expertises Across Industries

Press ReleaseMonday, July 8

princeton OneDes Moines, Ia.-based executive search and recruitment firm Vermillion Group has merged with PrincetonOne, a total recruitment services provider based in Skillman, N.J., effective July 1, 2013. Vermillion Group’s office will operate under the PrincetonOne name, becoming the company’s fifteenth U.S. location and increasing its market reach and industry expertise.

PrincetonOne has been operating in the recruitment industry for more than 40 years, placing top talent across a wide-range of industries and specialties. The merger will extend PrincetonOne’s market presence to include the federal contracting space, a practice area Vermillion Group has years of experience working within and will continue to expand.

“When developing federal contracting expertise, the learning curve is not short, ” said Kaye Salikof, a PrincetonOne senior consultant who specializes in leadership development. “For us to do that organically would be a disservice to the client and our employees, due to the time it would take to grow success.”

PrincetonOne has sought to move into such industries by merging with smaller firms that already have established relationships, deep industry knowledge, solid reputations and track records of success, like those built by Vermillion Group’s Emiley Hickok, Gregg Lynes and Tyler Glasgow.

“We have developed extensive relationships with clients that provide products and/or services to all parts of the federal government, ” says Des Moines General Manager Tyler Glasgow. “Our clients ask us to find candidates that hold the highest levels of security clearances and deep knowledge of varying Department of Defense and civilian agencies.”

Vermillion Group understands the compliance issues these clients deal with on a regular basis. The team has worked with many government contractors, recruiting at all levels of security clearances, including secret, top secret (TS), TS/SCI and full polygraph access levels. This in-depth knowledge paired with PrincetonOne’s breadth of resources allows both companies to reach new heights in the federal contracting industry.

“PrincetonOne gives a very thorough way for Vermillion Group to care for our clients in ways we have not been able to previously. Because of the support staff we gain, as well as their recruitment process outsourcing and contract staffing business lines, we can be bigger, better, faster than we have been in the past, ” said Account Executive Emiley Hickok.Vermillion Group

Salikof added that PrincetonOne is “absolutely” looking to pursue opportunities with firms that are looking to diversify into markets within the federal space or work with government and commercial operations.

PrincetonOne also taps into its diverse expertise to offer solutions to its clients across all of their functional areas. “If a company is utilizing us for their contracts management or IT needs, we can also provide a solution for sales and marketing by putting the appropriate team in place, ” said Salikof. “It’s a little different approach to specialization.”
