Tony Hess Joins CACI as Healthcare Solutions Group SVP

Anthony “Tony” Hess, formerly a group vice president at Unisys (NYSE: UIS), has joined CACI International (NYSE: CACI) as senior VP of the healthcare solutions group within the federal civilian solutions business unit.

CACI is also relocating the group’s operating center from Arlington, Va. to Chantilly as part of its efforts to expand in the healthcare arena, the company announced Thursday.

He joins CACI as the company aims to grow its presence in the Department of Health and Human Services with its December 2012 acquisition of Emergint Technologies and January purchase of IDL Solutions.

The company is the prime developer of the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record program for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

While at Unisys, the 22-year industry veteran led services and technology sales to federal civilian and defense health agencies.

Hess has also served as SVP and worldwide general manager of Science Applications International Corp.’s (NYSE: SAI) health solutions business unit.

His organization comprised of 2, 100 employees in 44 states and 11 countries.
