Scott Seavers Assumes Training VP Role at Salient Federal; Bill Parker Comments

Salient logoRetired U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Seavers has joined Salient Federal Solutions as vice president of training and international programs.

Seavers will be in charge of Salient’s international training organization, a business unit that provides training for foreign government services, Salient said Tuesday.

The colonel has more than two decades of active-duty experience in international relations and was most recently commander of the Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron.

“As we expand internationally, (Seavers’) experience and strong relationships with AFSAT, DSCA, USAF, coupled with foreign militaries, will greatly address our customers’ needs and enhance our international engagements and future endeavors, ” said Bill Parker, Salient chief operating officer.

Some of projects Seavers was involved in while in the USAF include providing support for contractors, civilians and military members who teach and educate students around the world and implementing security assistance training strategies abroad.

Seavers was also responsible for the development and implementation of over 500 international training programs.
