Leaders from both the public and private sector attend POC between 12 and 15 times per year to discuss emerging business and technology trends and collaborate on how to stay ahead of the curve and drive business gains.

POC will have the honor of hosting Todd Myers, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency‘s lead cloud computing architect; and Ely Kahn co-founder and vice president of business development at Boston-based enterprise software provider Sqrrl for the “Big Data Analytics” summit Aug. 22.

In his role at NGA, Myers is responsible for working with the chief information officer and technology director on information technology strategies for the agency and intelligence community.

Kahn served as cybersecurity strategy director for the White House’s national security staff before helping start Sqrll.

This cross-section of government and business executives will discuss the current tools agencies have for big data, how much storage they have and strategies to manage that data, how to analyze that data and put it to use and how the government can make the data more accessible for all.
