Boeing intends to offer the eXConnect service and aeronautical terminals to clients that operate the company’s aircraft, Boeing said Tuesday.
Paul Margis, president and CEO of Panasonic Avionics, said the company will combine its Ku-band aeronautical network with Boeing’s network security offerings.
Paul Geery, vice president of C3 solutions for Boeing’s electronic and information business, added the eXConnect service aims to expand Boeing’s C4ISR offerings (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).
The companies are negotiating the final terms of an agreement.
