Raytheon Wins $116M for Patriot Missile Engineering Services; Sanjay Kapoor Comments

Raytheon logo_EbizRaytheon (NYSE: RTN) has won a $115.9 million contract to provide engineering services related to its Patriot air and missile defense system to the U.S. Army and foreign military sales customers.

The company will provide the Patriot with country-specific systems requirements, software development, testing and logistics support and systems analysis, Raytheon announced today.

“NATO and our 12 Patriot partners worldwide count on Patriot to protect their people and allies, as we’re witnessing today on the world stage, ” Sanjay Kapoor, Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business vice president.

Awarded by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, Raytheon will perform work under the contract at various facilities in Massachusetts, Alabama and New Mexico.
