Lockheed-Northrop JV Wins $39M on Potential $333M Radar Sale

FireControlRadarA joint venture of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a $39, 026, 852 U.S. Army contract modification for mounted assemblies and fire control radars in support of a foreign military sale.

The modification increases the cumulative value of Longbow LLC’s contract to $333, 348, 252, the Defense Department said Friday.

Saudi Arabia is also acquiring ground support equipment under the firm-fixed-price, foreign military sales contract.

The Army is obligating fiscal year 2011 and 2013 procurement funds for the award and the Army Contracting Command’s office at Redstone Arsenal, Ala. is the contracting activity.
