Northrop Wins $113M for Hawkeye Production Materials

NorthropLogoNorthrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a $113, 723, 443 contract to acquire long lead materials and other support needed to build five E-2D Advanced Hawkeye planes for the U.S. Navy.

The advance acquisition contract contains fixed-price line items and covers full rate production of the lot two aircraft, the Defense Department said Monday.

Work will occur through March 2014 and the Navy is allocating the full contract value at the time of award from its fiscal year 2013 aircraft procurement funds.

No funds will expire at the end of this fiscal year, the Pentagon said.
