The one-year task order has two option years and was awarded through the Air Force Contract Augmentation program, KBR said Tuesday.
Andrew Summers, KBR group president for infrastructure, government and power, said this order is the 40th AFCAP contract award for the joint venture.
CH2M Hill/KBR Global Services will provide the transport, labor and equipment to power the airfield and other facilities of the Al Udeid military base.
A team under the joint venture will also train Air Force personnel on the airfield’s aircraft arresting systems.
