BoeingLogoBoeing (NYSE: BA) has won a $21, 459, 925 contract modification to update the training system support center for the U.S. Navy‘s P-8A Poseidon maritime aircraft.

This modification covers lot three of low rate initial production and also includes tools and data for the plane’s weapons tactics trainer, the Defense Department said Monday.

The Navy is allocating contract funds from its fiscal year 2011 aircraft procurement and fiscal 2013 research, development, test and evaluation funds for this award.

Work will occur in St. Louis through August 2016 and the Naval Air System Command at Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
