Parsons Corp. has acquired a provider of operations and maintenance services services to federal, state and local government agencies for an undisclosed amount.
First Support Services, formerly a subsidiary of FirstGroup, holds the majority of its contracts with the U.S. Air Force and Navy, Parsons said Friday.
Chuck Harrington, Parsons chairman and CEO, said First Support Services has more than 25 years of experience in the field.
The Dallas-based business employs more than 175 people and has revenues of more than $50 million per year, Parsons said.
Founded in 1982, First Support Services also provides logistics support, transportation support, and telecommunications operations services to the U.S. government.
