Jim Freund Assumes Intelligent Decisions Strategy, Planning VP Role; Harry Martin Comments

Jim Freund, a 21-year Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) veteran and director for collaboration and smart solutions, has joined Intelligent Decisions as vice president of strategy and planning for enterprise sales.

Freund will oversee the company’s offerings in cloud, collaboration, remote expert, virtualization and bring-your-own-device as the company aims to grow in the enterprise space, ID said Monday.

Harry Martin, president and CEO, said Freund brings nearly four decades of experience of information technology engineering to his new role at ID.

In his most recent position at Cisco, Freund developed offerings for small businesses aimed at combining data center, collaboration and networking platforms into vertical products for Cisco.
