The Army received 10 bids for the firm-fixed-price, multiple-award task order contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
Work is scheduled to finish March 4, 2018 and the Army will determine work location with each order.
In May 2012, the Navy awarded $228.7 million in contracts to a group of companies including BAE Systems, L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL), M.C. Dean and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI).
Under that contract, companies will compete to perform engineering and life cycle support work on electronic security and emergency management systems, among other types of technology.
