SAIC To Analyze DoD Antennas, Develop Software; John Thomas Comments


John Thomas - SAIC,  ExecutiveMosaicScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) has won a potential $65 million contract from the U.S. Defense Department to perform software development and analyze and design antennas.

‘This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract contains one base year and four option years, the company said Monday.

“We look forward to continuing to provide manufacturing and engineering support services to the Department of Defense, ” said John Thomas, senior vice president and group general manager.

The company will provide the department manufacturing, systems engineering and integration support services, continuing previous work for over a decade under a manufacturing and engineering support contract.

Work under the new contract will primarily occur in Columbia, Md.

SAIC is also providing software development work to the U.S. Army under a $152 million task order.
