Jon Remington, most recently a director of business management and division controller at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has been promoted to vice president and controller for the technical services sector.
Remington will oversee financial operations such as planning and reporting for the Herndon, Va.-based sector, the company said Monday.
“Jon’s more than 30 years of experience with the corporation and his demonstrated leadership skills made him the right choice for this important position, ” said Chris Jones, corporate VP and president of the technical services sector.
He will also be responsible for cash and asset management, regulatory compliance, accounting, compliance with internal control practices and company policies and procedures.
Prior to this promotion, he held the director and division controller roles in the military aircraft division of the aerospace systems sector.
In that capacity, he was responsible for financial planning, reporting and management, regulatory compliance, cash and capital asset management and resource planning.
