Kavaliro obtains Salient’s 58 employees working on the program and contractual resources affiliated with the program, for which Salient has been working for 15 years.

Kavaliro President Mark Moore said the company wanted to add the program so it could expand into that market.

The company said another goal of the acquisition is to bring in new mid-Atlantic region customers and grow its technology and financial staff augmentation business.

Program staff members have experience in implementing Microsoft.Net and Java technologies, the company said.

According to the Orlando Business Journal, Kavaliro has 373 employees and attained $20 million in 2012 revenue.

Salient announced an acquisition of its own in November 2012, picking up software firm LIST Innovative Solutions Inc. and adding positions on blanket purchase agreements with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and the Patent and Trademark Office.
