SAIC on $300M NNSA Engineering BPA Team; JT Grumski Comments

SAIC_logoScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) is a member of a team that won a prime position on a $300 million blanket purchase agreement for technical and engineering services from the National Nuclear Security Administration.

The company said it is a member of a small business team led by TechSource Inc., a small business contractor teams eligible to compete for work under the BPA.

“SAIC has a long history with the NNSA, dating back to the mid-1980s, ” said JT Grumski, a senior vice president and business unit general manager. “We look forward to continuing our support of the nation’s nuclear mission.”

Under this most recent award, the company will compete to provide support services for the agency’s national security programs.

The company previously worked with the NNSA on stockpile stewardship and management, nonproliferation, counterterrorism and counter proliferation, security management and emergency operations.

Parsons Corp. announced in November 2012 it also belonged to a contracting team competing on the BPA (click here for our coverage).
