ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT) has won a potential $33.5 million contract to help a Defense Department program office manage counterterrorism projects, the company said Friday.

The cost-plus-fixed fee contract with the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office has one base year and two one-year options.

ManTech said the CTTSO oversees a national research and development program for more than 100 federal agencies and state, local, international and non-government organizations.

“The CTTSO customer has unique operational and technical demands to quickly deploy advanced solutions in support of the global war on terrorism, ” said Terry Ryan, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s emerging markets group. “We are pleased to continue our technical support to the CTTSO’s critical mission.”

ManTech staff will provide the office systems engineering and technical assistance, along with advisory and assistance services for domestic and international projects.
