DHS Picks 29 for $3B IT Products Contract

dhsThe U.S. Department of Homeland Security has awarded 29 small businesses positions on a potential $3 billion information technology products contract, according to a FedBizOpps notice.

DHS made 36 awards on the FirstSource II vehicle and several companies won in more than one category, organized by different types of small businesses.

The department divided awards between general small business; women-owned small business; service-disabled veteran-0wned small business; the Small Business Administration‘s 8(a) category; and historically underutilized business zone, known as HUBZone.
